I haven’t been blogging for a short while as I have been a little Poorly, I hurt my shoulder somehow.
I woke up one morning two weeks ago in some pain, think it must be a trapped nerve or someink!
still hurts but think I am on the mend. Maybe in a few weeks I can resume my usual swinging Nana eating self!
Anyways during my rest bite a wonderful tune was released and it kindo’ worked with my bad shoulder thing. Anyway call it my mid week pick up for you chaps and chapesses out there as I have included the u-tube video and tune to play for you.
Hang in there!
Ps I would lurve it if some of you could blow a few virtual kisses my way it might help me feel a little better.
Had some fun today, been delving back into the 80’s a little. I needed some inspiration to write some radio ads, for the new collection of greeting cards that we’ve just done. I just love it when a greeting card comes together…
We’ll stick the ads up for you to listen to, shortly as I’d like a little feedback.
Well the weekend is almost upon us and Sam my brother is calling me to the pub, him and some other chimp mates..
Gorrr, dunno about you lot but all my brother’s kids want to do is jump all over me… and I need to do some work here! Bein’ a gorilla is not all about swinging around and eating ‘nanas you know!
Anyway, it’s my fault. I suppose I have encouraged it… As Mrs Mungo points out!
I’m trying to write some more voice overs and gags for the new ranges of greetings cards that we are doing: Father’s day and some ‘get well soon’ cards.
IDEA! In between little Jack swinging around my neck I’ve found something to distract him.
So mums, moms, tomayto’s, tomaaaarto’s, dads ‘n’ daddy gorillaaaas and monkeys who are uncles this one’s for you… Well for them. You know what I mean…
I may be a gur-gur-gorilla but I like people! … Not to eat though!
Strictly ‘nana’s for me.
I was quite lonely yesterday but happy now as I’ve been meeting some wonderful people through the blogging world. Everyone with their own unique experiences. Lots of experience out there, I can learn a lot. Perhaps I can give a little too.
My one principle aim is to cheer you up when you are down, make you smile when you frown…
Every Monday I’ll post something to make you smile.
Hello everyone and welcome to my simple but interesting world…
Dunno about you folks but I like to browse YouTube from time to time, it gives me inspiration and sows seeds for new ideas for greeting card designs, sound bites and the like.
Anyway, look what I found! Great tune although the bloke in the video is a little disturbing. Worth a watch.
Well any friend of a gorilla is a friend of mine…..
Gorillas! Can’t live with ‘em, can’t live without ‘em! Or something like that.
Now I’m a clever chap (just take a glance at the fruits of my entrepreneurial streak), but even I’m impressed by Koko. I’ve met her before, and she’s a splendid lady, full of the joys of life. She can even do sign language (something I would never be able to figure out how to do). Head on down to www.koko.org to see her in action.
While you’re there… why not drop ‘em a fiver or so.
You’ve got to hand it to Calvin, he’s raised the art-bar by several feet. Have a glance at his spanking site (spanking as in ‘very good’, not actually a site about spanking) www.calvininnes.com. It’s filled to the brim with crazy genius at work.
My favourite at the moment is the ‘Teddie Ball’… See if you can find it in his ‘portfolio’ section under ‘colour cartoons’. I say ‘at the moment’, because I keep discovering new stuff on his site!
I’m a gorilla, but even I’m a little scared of this! Go-ape is a mad idea from a pair of nutcases where you swing about in trees and leap about on obstacle courses suspended in the air!
Actually, after reading all the comments on their site, I’m feeling more confident. I’m being taken there for my birthday (which is soon), so I’ll let you know how it goes!
Check out the gorillas who’ve already braved it (it’s not all as scary as this!):
Apparently they’ve got loads of sites dotted all about the UK, so you’re bound to be near one if you fancy a go!
