Mungogram Digital Cards
The Mungo Sales Challenge

Foreword

You do not need any sales experience, formal training or qualification in Sales / Marketing.

We are now living in an era where communication media is open to anyone with a PC and access to the internet, anything is possible. This is indeed the golden age for marketing opportunities.

Your Target

Quite simply sell an average of 5 of our 'unique' greeting cards a week. We have the set the bar low, therfore we expect anyone of our accepted applicants to be able to sell 5 cards on average per week over any given three week period. For example if you were to sell 8 cards in week 1, 3 cards in week 2 then to maintain the target set you would be expected to sell 4 cards in week 3. Likewise on week 4 adding the number of cards sold on the preceeding two weeks (which totals 7) a further 8 cards would need to be sold to meet the criteria.
There is of course no upper limit, there are no restrictions to the number of 'unique' cards you can sell and therefore no cap on the total commission you are able to earn!

If the above sounds appealing then please read on.

Okay, over the next few paragraphs we will explain the procedure.

Explanation

What is termed a 'Unique' card- What we define as a unique card and for the purposes of this offer, are any one of our unique greeting cards where sound is used or ordered. Ie, any greeting card purchased with added sound module.
Our web site 'Mungogram.com' enables users to log on, choose a particular artwork then either select a pre-recorded comical message or record their very own personal one. The customer is able to either use voice over microphone on their PC or alternatively use our integrated telephone system, a free service (0800 number) for landline based sets.

Below are a few examples (a sneaky preview) of how our greetings cards look. You will of course be able to browse our website once it has been launched.

Application procedure and requirements

We will accept the first 200 applicants that correctly complete the application form.
Each successful applicant will receive a Merchant ID number along with confirmation of succesful application and start date for trading.

The 'Mungo sales challenge' will expire 6 calendar months after start date, although if successful we may choose to extend this period.

Cancellation: Mutual cancellation without penalty should either the participating merchant or we decide to cancel the agreement. We respect your right to cancel at anytime. Although we may ask for a reason you can choose not to disclose why. No notice period is required from either party to cancel. Your agreement with us will be cancelled automatically if you are unable to meet our minimum sales requirement.

Each week, from the commencement of trading, each Merchant will receive what will be known as a 'Trading Statement'.
The trading statement will comprise of the following important pieces of information that basically keeps you up to date with sales, commissions earned, funds available and of course your target requirements, which must be met in order for you to remain in the programme.

Components of the trading statement

- Your Merchant Number which is your unique reference number. Basically it is how we identify you.
- Trading week: The number of the week we are currently on ie, 1, 2, 3, etc.
- Number of cards sold in the previous trading week.
- Minimum sales requirement for the current week.
- Statement of accounts: This is your statement of commissions earned and withdrawals and is a historic record.
- Balance total: This is the current balance of commission that you have left in your account with us.
- Funds available: Of the total funds, the funds available are those funds that you are able to request payment. To enable us to maintain a sensible cap on the costs and enable you, the merchant, to receive such a proportionally very high commission rate, we will pay in denominations of £10. For example once the balance total reaches £10 you can request a payment. If you prefere you can allow the balance to accumulate and then request payment of the balance in denominations of £10. For example a balance total of £46.30 you can request payment of £40.00 or even wait till it exceeds £50 and request that.

Promotional Codes and sales tools

In addition to receiving your merchant number we will also issue you with a unique 'Promotional Code'. Each and every time your promotional code is used when a customer orders one of our unique greeting cards we will identify this as one of your sales.
The code has to be successfully entered, the sales order has to be completed and the item ordered has to be one of our unique cards.

Will people remember to add the code? In our experience if you mention in the advert somewhere the text 'When ordering quote promotional code EXAMPLE' the public will generally for the most part enter it.

Will these codes apply discount? No these codes are 0% discount rated and they are simply tools to enable traceability of sales.

If you feel that you would like to tempt more customers by enticing them with a discount we are flexible enough here to allow that but it must come out of your sales commission. If this does appeal to you and you feel that you would wish to use some of your commission to draw in more custom, have a think about the amount you would like to use and we should be able to work something out. In the long run if for example you felt happy with 75 pence commission we could set you up with a discounted promotional code which you could then advertise to customers a promotional code which if used would give them a discount of 25 pence for every unique card.

We will issue in our 'Tools page' a set of banners and logos which you can download. These are to enable you to advertise on a website or on printed media and included in this we can allow linked banners which will enable your website to link with ours and that tells us you have supplied us with a potential customer. Again if that customer then completes a successful order for our specified product you will earn the respective commission.

Basically, it is entirely up to you how you market this product with the tools we have given you, provided of course the method is safe, will not offend anyone, or bring our company into disrepute. Please note that any promotional costs incurred are for you, the merchant's account. These would for example be including, but not limited to, costs of printing, advertising and employing third parties.

A few basic sales examples

Just a few basic ideas to get the creative juices flowing. For example you may live in a village and may wish to print out some flyers and post them around, of course don't forget to make reference to your promotional code. Although we will on the outset issue you with a promotional code we can also, if requested issue further codes to your specification. Again if for example you live in say a village called Boxford we could issue you with the code BOX, which may help aid villagers remember your code.
- Perhaps create a sticker using our logo for the back of your car? Local newspaper/ advertiser?
- Certainly a cheap way of advertising could possibly be using a company bulletin board, just make sure that you have permission first!
- If this is all a little new and you are a little unsure then perhaps 'start with your family' they'll probably help build your confidence, give you a little encouragement and who knows they may even place a few orders and get you off to a good start. Also please remember, you may also order cards personally but remember to include your promotional code which will enable you to gain credit and sales commission!

We look forward to your business.

Good Luck

Scope

We are looking for up to 200 applicants nationwide. Successful applicants will enter into what we are terming 'The Mungo Sales Challenge'.

The Mungo Sales Challenge

Simply sell an average of 5 of our 'unique' greeting cards a week. We have the set the bar low and therefore we expect anyone of our accepted applicants to be able to sell 5 cards on average per week over any given three week period. For example if you were to sell 8 cards in week 1, 3 cards in week 2 then to maintain the target set you would be expected to sell 4 cards in week 3. There is of course no upper limit. There are no restrictions to the number of 'unique' cards you can sell or cap on amount of commission earned

Unique greeting card is any card which is sold with a sound component. Ie a card once opened that plays a sound. This is our main product.

Account/How the Merchant receives funds

Each applicant must have or prior to entering must have a PAYPAL or similar account that is set up to receive funds.

Settlement

In order to keep our costs down to achieve a high commission rate for you we will settle in denominations of £10. Once your statement shows that there is a balance due of over £10 or other multiples of ten pounds, you send us an invoice through PAYPAL, or other account. Also we wish to point out that all or any costs incurred for the transaction are for yours, the merchant's, account.
We will do our utmost to settle your invoice within 6 working days of receipt.

Your account with us

Although we term the record of transactions an account it is not an actual account but merely a record of transactions and resulting commissions and therefore will not give rise to interest on funds, overdraft or credit facilities, give rise to charges or any other feature of what would normally be termed a bank account in its conventional sense.

Extension

We reserve the right to extend this challenge to more applicants if we feel that it is necessary to do so. We reserve the right to do this without consultation or giving prior notice.

Resale or disclosure of information to third parties

All personal details are confidential. MungoGram does not sell, rent, loan, trade or lease any personal information collected at our site. This includes but is not limited to membership forms, email lists or addresses.

Logo

The applicant/ Merchant or sales agent agrees only to use our logo, strap line and other associated identity (including the 'mungo') to market Mungogram products only.
Furthermore by entering into our merchant scheme the merchant will have our express authority to market and use logo, strap line and other associated identity only during the period specified in these terms. Mungogram grant permission to a qualifying applicant for using trademark and logo strictly within the confines of this marketing venture and within timescale specified, unless extended.

We reserve the right to cancel our association with a merchant at any time without notice and without giving reason at which point the merchant must cease trading our products immediately and must not use our name or claim association or connection to our company in any way, whether deemed or direct.

The use of our logo and character is carefully monitored under copyright and trademark legislation.

Marketing

Whilst we have agreed that the merchant may market our products and may have, to a large extent, freedom to do so, the merchant must ensure that his/her conduct be reasonable. Reasonable, meaning, that all marketing activities are conducted in a way that will not offend/ infuriate, cause harrassment or nuisance to anyone.
The merchant understands that his/ her conduct is their sole responsibility, which they must assume. We will not tolerate anyone who seeks to damage our reputation. Legal action will be taken.
